Set off on a 4-day adventure from Ouarzazate, exploring the enchanting landscapes of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi, and continuing to Zagora. Your journey begins with a visit to the historic Kasbah Amerhidil, then winds through the scenic Dades Valley to the towering Todra Gorges. Experience a sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes and spend a memorable night under the stars at a desert camp. The trip progresses through Tazzarine and along the lush Draa Valley, ending with a visit to the hidden treasures of Agdz before returning to the cinematic city of Ouarzazate.

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

Your driver will pick you up at 8:00 AM at your accommodation in Ouarzazate. We first visit the Kasbah Amerhidil in the fascinating Skoura palm grove. Enjoy the drive via Kelaat M’Gouna, where the colors of the landscape have already changed to a mixture of green gardens and flowering roses. We continue our way to Tinghir through the beautiful Dades Valley and head towards the Todra Gorges for lunch. The restaurant is situated in the heart of the canyon with its 300 m height. You will have the possibility to enjoy a 1-hour hike inside the valley. In the afternoon, we leave towards Erfoud via Tinejdad with its interesting, old underground irrigation system. We will search for rare fossils and places where they are extracted before we reach the dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset camel ride which will take you directly to the oasis where we will spend the night in Hotel Merzouga.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

Meet your camel guide in the morning to set off with the bare essentials for your one-night experience under the stars in the desert. After 2 hours of camel riding, we stop for lunch next to a shadowy desert tamarisk tree. After a delicious lunch, we head towards the desert camp on the back of your camels. Our home for tonight, the nomad tents, are traditionally made out of thick goat and camel hair. Enjoy a welcome tea, while your evening meal is prepared and served under the stars. After dinner, it is usual for the camel guides to drum and sing Berber songs. Enjoy this authentic entertainment in Merzouga.

Day 3: Merzouga – Tazzarine – Draa Valley – Zagora

After an unforgettable night in the desert, you will admire the sunrise upon the dunes followed by a typical breakfast. We will return back with our camels to the hostel to meet our driver, enjoy a shower, and leave towards Rissani, an interesting oasis town. Explore its touristy area including the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm tree grove as a part of an eco-tourism project. Lunch will be served in Tazzarine, followed by a drive via the beautiful Draa Valley to our final destination of today: Zagora. Dinner and hotel.

Day 4: Zagora – Agdz – Ouarzazate

Today, we will take you through the Draa Valley and further on to Agdz to discover the hidden treasures of the Southern region. Lunch will be served in the Kasbah of Tamnougalte. Afterwards, you will enjoy the groves as a part of the eco-tourism in the Draa area. Arrival to the African Hollywood (Ouarzazate) in the late afternoon, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
