Day by day

Day 1 Marrakech → Ouarzazate
  • Depart from Marrakech in the morning, traveling through the majestic High Atlas Mountains.
  • Stop at the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters), offering breathtaking panoramic views.
  • Visit a traditional Berber village along the route.
  • Explore Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Desert,” known for its kasbahs and film studios.
  • Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Day 2 Ouarzazate → Tinghir
  • Depart for Tinghir via the Valley of Roses and the Dades Gorges.
  • Discover the scenic palm groves and Berber villages that line the route.
  • Stop to admire the stunning Dades and Todra Gorges, known for their dramatic rock formations.
  • Evening in Tinghir, with time to relax and enjoy a traditional meal.
Day 3 Tinghir → Merzouga
  • Travel toward Merzouga, passing through picturesque desert landscapes.
  • Stop to explore the vast palm oases and experience local life.
  • Arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert, for a camel trek at sunset.
  • Spend the night in a traditional desert camp under a star-filled sky.
Day 4 Merzouga → Azrou
  • Begin the journey northward through the Ziz Valley, famous for its lush date palms.
  • Pass through the charming Middle Atlas villages, including Midelt.
  • Visit the cedar forests of Azrou, home to friendly Barbary macaques.
  • Overnight in Azrou or the surrounding area.
Day 5 Soft Hike in Azrou → Fes
  • Enjoy a light hike in the cedar forests or surrounding hills, soaking in the natural beauty of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
  • Continue the drive to Fes, arriving in the early afternoon.
  • Drop-off at your desired location in Fes.

A safe, pleasant and educational trip in Morocco We had Mustafa as our safe, reliable and friendly guide and driver for almost four weeks. He contributed great knowledge of both geography, history, and culture. We also learned a lot about the modern Morocco and the rapid changes and advances made in the school system and training, industry, business and agriculture. We would like to come back another time, and most preferably with Mustafa as the driver, guide and very knowledgeable and nice travel accompaniment.

Super nice and very nice people Everything very well arranged fine camel ride to the accommodation which looked super nice, good food and nice campfire. Sleeping place was clean and fine. Beautiful sand and super sweet people. Outside the summer for super nice weather. I recommend it to everyone:)

Amazing trips with Mustapha in Morocco We have done two trips with Mustapha in Morocco and both were incredible. He both guided us to amazing experiences and was also very responsive to our desires and needs. Whenever we had a challenge (which was rare), he helped us solve it. He now feels like part of the family. I could not recommend partnering with Mustapha more for your next trip to Morocco.

60 years in the desert Great experience with family and for my birthday. Beautiful discovery of a piece of desert of Merzouga and its camp in the middle of the dunes.

Phenomenal experience. What a phenomenal experience. Mustapha was the consummate host. Entertaining, funny and ever present. He is both proud and knowledgeable about his native and beautiful country. The tours are all inclusive of meals, hotels and entrance fees to the various attractions en route. All were faultless as was his skilful driving on the rough off road terrain. I cannot recommend Mustapha and his tours highly enough. I would definitely book him again.
